After establishing himself as a key player for Borussia Dortmund and in the Bundesliga, Jadon Sancho left the club in 2021 to join Manchester United for a reported €85 million.

However, after struggling to make a breakthrough in England, he returned to Signal Iduna Park on loan for the second half of the 2023/24 season.

Currently on loan at Aston Villa and set to become a free agent in the summer, Sancho is now once again being linked with Dortmund.

According to Sky Germany, the Black and Yellows are looking to sign a player who can immediately step in as a regular starter to replace Julian Brandt, who will leave the club on a free transfer this summer.

This has sparked renewed discussions about a potential reunion with Sancho, now 25.

The winger would likely be willing to accept a significant pay cut to return, but doubts remain at Dortmund over whether he would fit in under Niko Kovac.
