Bilal El Khannouss’ move from Leicester City to Stuttgart is set to become permanent, as the conditions for the agreed purchase obligation have already been met, according to Stuttgarter Nachrichten.

The 21-year-old has made the required 30 competitive appearances for the clause to be triggered. With relegation no longer a concern, the contractual obligation is set to take effect.

In total, Stuttgart are paying €20 million for the Moroccan international –an initial €3 million loan fee plus a €17 million transfer fee. A contract running until 2030, with no release clause, is reportedly already in place.

El Khannouss has been a key figure for Stuttgart this season, scoring eight goals and providing six assists in 33 appearances across all competitions.
