Borussia Dortmund appear to have intensified their interest in Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Fábio Silva, who is being considered as a potential backup for Serhou Guirassy.

According to Sacha Tavolieri, the 23-year-old has been offered a five-year contract by Die Schwarzgelben.

Fabio Silva and Wolves are expected to meet this week to discuss a potential transfer to Dortmund.

With the Portuguese striker’s contract set to expire next year, the transfer fee is expected to remain within a moderate range.

Silva spent last season on loan at Spanish side UD Las Palmas, where he made an impression with 10 goals and three assists.
