Dynamo Dresden have announced the permanent signing of Robert Wagner following the midfielder's successful loan spell at the club during the second half of last season. The 22-year-old joins from SC Freiburg after spending the previous years on a series of loan moves.

Wagner made an immediate impact in Dresden, convincing the club to pursue a permanent transfer. Sporting director Sören Gonther described the midfielder as a player “capable of making the difference in the centre of the pitch”, while Wagner himself expressed his delight at extending his stay with the Saxons.

Dresden also confirmed the signing of Ahmet Muhamedbegovic. The 27-year-old centre-back arrives on a free transfer from Slovenian champions NK Olimpija Ljubljana and brings valuable international experience to Thomas Stamm's squad.

With Wagner and Muhamedbegovic on board, Dynamo continue to strengthen their squad as they prepare for life back in Germany's second tier.
