A new loan move for Luka Vuskovic to remain a Hamburger SV player is currently not a topic, based on Sky Germany's sources.

According to Florian Plettenberg, HSV is currently not in any negotiations with Vušković's parent club Tottenham Hotspur.

The pay-TV channel states the Croatian central defender has also confirmed their news, stating a return is seemingly “impossible”.

This comes as a massive blow to the Hanseatic outfit who seemed confident they could retain him on loan for at least another season

At the moment, there are two options on the table for the youngster – a long-term contract extension with a top salary at Tottenham.

Alternatively the 19-year-old could make a move to one of the biggest clubs in Europe, such as FC Barcelona or Bayern Munich.

On Saturday, 30 May, Vušković was named as the player of the season for HSV by our team of writers here at Bulinews.com.
