Despite recent reports suggesting otherwise, Luka Vušković could remain at Hamburger SV into the upcoming 2026-27 season.
British newspaper The Independent is focusing on upcoming personnel decisions at Tottenham Hotspur, including Vušković's future.
According to their sources, Tottenham plans to extend the 19-year-old's contract and then loan him back to HSV for another season.
Vuskovic's current deal is actually valid until the summer of 2030, but any extension would likely include a salary increase.
However, the defender's development in the Bundesliga has not gone unnoticed by the international football elite.
As a result, Tottenham might try to capitalize on Vušković's desire to play alongside his brother Mario for the Hanseatic club next season.
The London club could deter interested parties by securing the Croatian's future with a long-term deal and send him back to HSV on loan.
