Hamburger SV sporting director Stefan Kuntz has addressed recent remarks from Daniel Peretz, who voiced frustration over his limited playing time since joining on loan from Bayern Munich and admitted he considers ending the loan early in January.

“I can understand Daniel’s disappointment - especially after Israel’s 0–5 loss to Norway in World Cup qualifying,” Kuntz told Bild.

Despite Peretz’s concerns, HSV’s plans appear unchanged, with the club intending to keep him for the remainder of the season to provide competition for Daniel Heuer Fernandes.

“We’re extremely satisfied with his performances here,” Kuntz added.

“He’s not only a great person but also an outstanding goalkeeper who consistently elevates our training to Bundesliga standards.”
