Bayern Munich defender Konrad Laimer praised his team’s performance following the hard-fought 2–1 victory over Borussia Dortmund, calling it an important result against one of Germany’s strongest sides.

“It always feels nice to win a game. These are the two best teams in Germany,” Laimer said. “It was an important victory for us. We could have scored more in the first half, but in the end we’re happy to walk away with the three points secured.”

Laimer also reflected on the team’s overall cohesion and playing style: “You can always improve in football, but at the moment, it just makes a lot of fun to play with the lads. That’s how you want to play, that’s a team you want to be part of - that’s the way we want to keep on going.”

He singled out Harry Kane for his influence on the squad, both on and off the ball: “Harry Kane is everything to us. He is everywhere on the pitch, he comes back to defend but also is in front of goal and scores the goals for us. You can learn a lot from him, from his mindset and the way he plays. He is great for us.”

Laimer’s comments highlight Bayern’s team spirit, the learning environment fostered by key players like Kane and the determination that secured victory in one of the Bundesliga’s most high-profile fixtures.
