Bayer Leverkusen are reportedly considering a move for Paul Wanner, who has impressed on loan at Heidenheim from Bayern Munich this season.

According to Sky Germany, Die Werkself could make a move for the 18-year-old next summer, when a permanent move away from Bayern Munich could be on the cards.

Wanner could potentially arrive as a replacement for Florian Wirtz should the latter decide to move on in the summer of 2025.

However, much will depend on Wanner's prospects in Munich, where he is under contract until 2027 - and whether the Bavarians would be willing to sell him to a fellow Bundesliga title contender.

Wanner immediately established himself as a key player for Heidenheim after joining the club on loan, scoring five goals and providing two assists in 11 appearances.
