After Julian Nagelsmann's agent Volker Struth said his client could have re-joined Bayern Munich not long his sacking, he described Max Eberl's interesting attempts to make contact.
Struth explained that Bayern's director of sport kept sending him cartoon GIFs on WhatsApp while waiting for their response to the coaching job being offered again in 2024.
"Of course, it took a few days of thinking things through and considering everything. During that time, Max kept sending me animated cartoon characters via WhatsApp.
“Tom and Jerry impatiently pacing the room, and someone constantly swiveling in a chair, staring up at the ceiling,” Struth said, in an interview with Sport BILD.
Regarding a future collaboration between the Bundesliga leaders and Nagelsmann, agent Struth said his client is content with the German National Team, but could return to Bayern one day.
“Julian is very happy at the moment. His contract extends beyond the World Cup and Bayern currently have a good coach and are successful – but I wouldn't rule it out [in the future],” he added.
