Jarell Quansah has managed to establish himself as a regular starter for Bayer 04 Leverkusen since his €35 million move from Liverpool FC last summer.
According to Sky Germany, Liverpool have closely monitored the 23-year-old centre-back’s progress and are reportedly considering re-signing him this summer as they look to bolster their defence.
The report adds that the Reds secured an €80 million buy-back option on Quansah when they sold him, which can be exercised until May 2026.
The England international has made 32 appearances for Leverkusen so far, scoring four goals.
He featured 58 times for Liverpool's first team before his move to Germany.
