Joshua Kimmich leaves Bayern exit open

Joshua Kimmich, widely regarded as one of the best footballers in the world, recently completed an interview with ‘So Foot’ where he left the door open for a potential move in the future.
Bayern’s irreplaceable, versatile star plays right in the middle of the machine that is Bayern Munich. When you have this type of a player that has won 7 Bundesliga titles, 3 DFB-Pokal trophies and a Champions League with the same club, it’s understandable if they might start to ponder other options. And Joshua Kimmich is doing just that.

In a recent interview with ‘So Foot’, Kimmich said he once thought about leaving the club over playing-time disagreements with former coach Carlo Ancelotti. It's seen that Kimmich is intrigued to try something new as he also stated, "That would be an interesting challenge. I don't know what will happen in a few years, we'll see."

He added that, "I have a very good coach who is an advocate of attractive football. I have a lot of fun here, but somewhere in my head there is always this professional and personal challenge of one day reaching new horizons to discover."

Kimmich may look to follow Robert Lewandowski in his quest for a new challenge down the road. At the moment, his role at the Bavarian club has only grown in importance. But with Ryan Gravenberchs' arrival and names such as Konrad Laimer floating around, Bayern are bringing in fresh blood just in case anything crazy transpires.
