Report: Everton plotting swoop for RB Leipzig's Augustin
Everton are reportedly ready to put €40 million on the table for RB Leipzig's Jean-Kevin Augustin in January.

The Frenchman has moved down the pecking order at Red Bull Arena this season and has mostly been used as a substitute lately while Timo Werner and Yussuf Poulsen have been RB Leipzig coach Ralf Rangnick's preferred striking duo.
Rangnick has spoken very highly of Augustin's abilities, but has said he has urged the striker to improve his work-rate and discipline to get the most out of his potential.
Since joining RB Leipzig from Paris Saint-Germain for €16 million in the summer of 2017, Augustin has netted 20 times in 59 appearances.
If RB Leipzig decide to let Augustin move to Everton, they could try to convince Everton to let Ademola Lookman move the other way.
Lookman spent the second half of the 2017/18 season on loan at RB Leipzig who subsequently wanted to sign the 21-year-old on a permanent deal - but 'The Toffees' didn't want to sell him.
