Fantasy Bundesliga tips: Strikers to consider for the start of the 2023/24 season

With the new Bundesliga season just around the corner, we are ready to give you a helping hand with your Fantasy Bundesliga team.
In this article, we take a look at the strikers you should have on your radar when you put together your squad.
Budget options:
Fraser Hornby (Darmstadt, 2.7M – on sale)
Should have a good chance of starting up front against Eintracht Frankfurt after playing the full game in Darmstadt's embarrassing 3-0 DFB-Pokal loss to Regionalliga side FC 08 Homburg-Saar. Eintracht are heavy favorites against the Bundesliga newcomers, who have had a difficult pre-season, but it doesn't get much cheaper than Hornby if you need a bargain striker, who will get playing time.
Eren Dinkci (Heidenheim, 4M)
The 21-year-old is in line to start on the wing for Heidenheim after joining on loan from Werder Bremen. He recently scored and assisted a goal in Heidenheim's 8-0 win over Rostocker FC in the DFB-Pokal and is arguably a better choice than Hornby if you have a bit more to spend.
Sven Michel (Augsburg, 5M)
Michel has left Union for Augsburg in search of more playing time and looks set to start the season up front alongside Ermedin Demirovic. Die Függerstädter got off to a less than ideal start to the season when they were knocked out of the cup recently, but they're usually quite good at getting results at home and could potentially upset a Gladbach side with a lot of new faces.
Mid-range options:
Kevin Behrens (Union Berlin, 9M)
Emerged as a regular starter up front for Union last season and looks to be a key player for them in the upcoming campaign as well, with the 32-year-old set to lead the line as the preferred centre-forward. In the long term, however, he won't be starting every game, as Union coach Urs Fischer is likely to rotate a lot once the Champions League starts.
Jonas Wind (Wolfsburg, 10M)
The Danish international has looked promising in pre-season and should start up front against newcomers Heidenheim, with Lukas Nmecha once again sidelined by injury.
Tomas Cvancara (Gladbach, 10.8M – on sale)
23-year-old Cvancara has been brought in to replace Marcus Thuram, so he has some big shoes to fill. Although he can't be expected to do so from day one, the Czech striker has made a good start to his Gladbach spell and has a favorable opening game against Augsburg on the horizon. He's also on sale.
Premium options:
Harry Kane (Bayern, 13.5M – on sale)
Self-explanatory, really. A proven goalscorer with plenty of experience, Kane could well be the number nine that Bayern were missing last season. He's even on sale this week.
Sebastien Haller (Dortmund, 14M)
Dortmund's main man up front, Haller scored a lot of goals for BVB towards the end of last season, and he has looked quite sharp in pre-season as well. Given Dortmund's favorable opening schedule, he could prove crucial in the early weeks.
Randal Kolo Muani (Frankfurt, 15M)
It's still not clear whether Muani will stay or go, with Paris Saint-Germain said to be close to signing him. A move away from Eintracht seems most likely at the moment, but if he does start against Darmstadt on Sunday, the Frenchman could be in for a haul. However, splashing out 15 million on him is a big gamble unless it's quite certain that he'll be playing.
