Werder Bremen and Hannover 96 have reportedly agreed a deal for Niclas Füllkrug, subject to a medical.

If he passes his medical, Füllkrug is set to to join Werder after the parties have agreed on a transfer fee of €8 million, according to Sportbuzzer.

Füllkrug has a release clause €12 million in his contract, but Hannover have accepted a lower offer, because the striker has been sidelined with a knee injury since December.

The 26-year-old came through the youth ranks at Werder Bremen and played 25 games for the first team, scoring three goals. He joined FC Nürnberg in 2014 and played there until Hannover signed him in 2016.
