Just over three months after taking over as Eintracht Frankfurt coach, Albert Riera's time at the Bundesliga club already appears to be coming to an end.

Several reports have suggested that the 44-year-old is in line to be sacked at the end of the season, and Bild has now outlined a list of possible replacements.

When Dino Toppmöller was dismissed in January, Kjetil Knutsen and Jacob Neestrup were mentioned as potential successors, and both are back on the radar, according to the German tabloid.

Knutsen is under contract with Bodø/Glimt until 2029, while Neestrup is currently available after leaving FC Copenhagen at the end of March.

Among other candidates, the report notably mentions Matthias Jaissle (Al Ahli) and Domenico Tedesco, who is currently without a club after most recently coaching Fenerbahçe.

Adi Hütter and Oliver Glasner, both highly regarded among fans, appear unlikely to return, while a move for Roger Schmidt – now working as global sports director for the Japanese J.League – also seems improbable.

Finally, Mike Tullberg (FC Midtjylland), Tobias Strobl (SC Verl), Tonda Eckert (Southampton) and Danny Röhl (Rangers) are mentioned as outsider candidates for the role.
