RB Leipzig boss confirms interest in Benjamin Henrichs

Benjamin Henrichs is looking more and more likely to join RB Leipzig in January.

RB Leipzig sporting director Markus Krösche admits that he sees Benjamin Henrichs as 'a very interesting player' amid speculation that 'Die Roten Bullen' want to sign the Monaco defender in January.

"'Benni' has already proven that he can cope with our way of playing football. He's a very interesting player," Krösche is quoted by DPA as saying.

According to a report from Kicker, RB Leipzig have already reached an agreement with Benjamin Henrichs who is said to be keen on making a return to Germany.

'Die Roten Bullen' are understood to have tabled a €20 million for Henrichs and are expected to come to an agreement with Monaco in January.

Henrichs, who joined Monaco from Leverkusen in 2018, has been limited to just six appearances this season.
