Bayern to join the race for Monaco's Benjamin Henrichs?

Bayern München could make a swoop for AS Monaco's Benjamin Henrichs in January.
Benjamin Henrichs has recently been heavily linked with a move to RB Leipzig in January, but it appears that 'Die Roten Bullen' could now face hefty competition for the Monaco defender's signature.

According to Kicker, Bayern München are considering bringing the former Bayer Leverkusen player to Allianz Arena during the winter transfer window.

Until now, Benjamin Pavard and Joshua Kimmich have taken turns playing the right-back position for Bayern this season.

But 'The Bavarians would now like to sign a new right-back to be able to play Pavard as a centre-back and Kimmich in defensive midfield at the same time.

RB Leipzig have reportedly tabled a €20 million offer for Henrichs. Kicker claims that Monaco have set an asking price of €30 million for Henrichs, but that it might be possible to persuade the Ligue 1 club to sell him for €25 million.

The 22-year-old has made six appearances for Monaco this season.
