Freiburg's Robin Koch linked with Napoli

SSC Napoli are understood to be keeping tabs on Robin Koch from SC Freiburg.

SC Freiburg's Robin Koch has attracted interest from SSC Napoli, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Apparently, the Italian Serie A side see Koch as a potential replacement for Kalidou Koulibaly, who could be on the move during the summer transfer market.

The 23-year-old has previously been linked with Benfica and RB Leipzig. According to reports, RB Leipzig were willing to pay €15 million for Koch in January, but Freiburg demanded €20 million for him.

Koch, who can play as a centre-back and in defensive midfield, is under contract with the Bundesliga side until 2021.
