Liverpool and Bayern München are both said to be interested in RB Leipzig star Timo Werner.

But at this point, RB Leipzig CEO Oliver Mintzlaff claims that neither Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp nor Bayern München chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has inquired about the striker ahead of the summer transfer window.

"Neither Jürgen Klopp nor Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has contacted me. First and foremost, we are happy that we managed to extend his contract until 2023," Mintzlaff said in an interview with the General-Anzeiger Bonn.

"We continue to believe that we remain a very good place for Timo Werner to develop as a German international," he continued.
