Prolific Haaland sets four Champions League records in Sevilla draw

Haaland's brace against Sevilla in the UEFA Champions League 2nd leg makes him the fastest and youngest player to score 20 goals in the competition.
As Dortmund take strides in the Champions League knockout stages, Erling Haaland continues to bang in goals.

The Norwegian sensation has now become the youngest player to score in six consecutive Champions League appearances. He is also Norway's top scorer in the Champions League, overtaking current Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who netted 19 times in the competition.

More remarkably, he became the fastest player ever to score 20 UCL goals, in only 14 matches. And also the youngest at 20 years, 7 months and 19 days.

He overcame the record for the fastest 20 goals by a remarkable ten games lesser than Harry Kane, who had to play 24 matches to reach the record. Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero achieved the record in 26 matches.

He has appeared six times so far for Dortmund this season on the continental stage – scoring a staggering 10 goals.

Four of them have come in the last 16 two legs against Sevilla – two in each leg. He also managed an assist in the first match at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, playing a part in each of Dortmund’s five goals across both legs.

He missed Dortmund’s last two group stage games due to a torn muscle fibre injury.

This season, Haaland has been a real force to deal with for opponents – scoring 30 goals in 28 appearances in all competitions.
