Wolfsburg coach Oliver Glasner linked with Gladbach amid exit talk

Oliver Glasner is considered likely to leave Wolfsburg at the end of the season, at which point he could replace Marco Rose as Gladbach coach.
Oliver Glasner has worked wonders at Wolfsburg, who currently sit third in the Bundesliga table.

However, the picture isn't quite so positive behind the scenes, with the Wolfsburg coach's relationship to sporting managing director Jörg Schmadtke understood to be strained.

Therefore, Glasner is likely to be on the move in the summer, and he could potentially be heading to Borussia Mönchengladbach, who have been on the lookout for a new coach since it was announced that Marco Rose will be leaving for Borussia Dortmund this summer.

The Austrian coach's potential move to Borussia-Park could be made possible by a reported release clause in his contract.

Glasner has also been linked with RB Salzburg, whose current coach, Jesse Marsch, is understood to be another candidate to replace Rose at Gladbach.
