Bayern München star Robert Lewandowski is set for a spell on the sidelines after injuring his knee in Poland's 3-0 victory over Andorra on Sunday.
According to the Polish Football Association, the striker has suffered collateral ligament damage, and this type of injury usually takes 5-10 days to recover from.
This means the 32-year-old will definitely miss Poland's World Cup qualifier against England on Wednesday and that he's a big doubt for Bayern's Bundesliga top-of-the-table clash against RB Leipzig on Saturday.
Lewandowski has been in excellent form this season, finding the net 42 times in 36 appearances for FC Bayern.
