As if there weren't enough planned departures from Frankfurt capital this summer, the SGE may have to reckon with the possible loss of its leading scorer. While the contract Portuguese striker André Silva signed this past September keeps him tied to Germany's financial capital through 2023, Germany's associated press reported yesterday that the agreement contains a €30 million exit clause.

This information was confirmed this morning by "Sport1" on the German broadcaster's twitter feed. The 25-year-old was linked with Athletico Madrid in the last two transfer windows. As safe as it might have been to assume that Champions' League qualification would keep Silva in Frankfurt, the wave of administrative departures may influence the attacker in the same way it has his head-coach.

No one has has a chance to elicit a statement from the player since the news broke. When speaking to transfermarkt.de about possible transfer rumors last winter, Silva simply remarked "everyone has their hopes and dreams."
