Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly joined the list of suitors for Borussia Dortmund striker Serhou Guirassy.

According to Bild, Spurs have already made contact with Guirassy’s representatives, identifying the 30-year-old as a key target as they look to restructure ahead of the upcoming season.

The report also claims that representatives from the struggling Premier League club have scouted him live.

AC Milan have previously been mentioned as another serious contender for the Guinea international.

Saudi Arabia has also been suggested as a potential destination, with reports previously suggesting that Guirassy’s brother and agent have offered him to clubs in the region. However, that option now seems increasingly unlikely due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

Guirassy reportedly has a €50 million release clause in his contract, but it only applies to select top clubs, and neither Tottenham, AC Milan nor any Saudi clubs are understood to be in a position to trigger it.

After an impressive debut campaign at Borussia Dortmund, Guirassy’s second season has been less successful, though he has still managed a respectable 17 goals in 38 appearances. He has come off the bench in two of Dortmund’s last three games across all competitions.
