1.FC Union Berlin will have to do without the services of Matheo Raab in the coming weeks, the club confirmed this evening.
The goalkeeper sustained a hand injury just before the final whistle in yesterday's 1-0 victory over SC Freiburg on Matchday 27.
Jan-Niklas Beste's effort in the eleventh minute of injury time which was saved by Raab is believed to be the cause of the discomfort.
The 27-year-old played a pivotal role in securing the important away win in Breisgau with that with a superb, last-minute parry.
With Raab out and first-choice Frederik Rønnow nursing an injured foot, 32-year-old Carl Klaus could be in line to start against Bayern Munich.
