Juventus are reportedly eyeing Leon Goretzka on a free transfer once his contract with Bayern Munich expires this summer.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Serie A giants have already held initial talks with the 31-year-old midfielder.

The report also claims that Juventus coach Luciane Spalletti has placed Goretzka “at the very top of his list.”

Arsenal have been seen as favourites to land the German international, but Juventus aren't giving up without a fight.

According to the report, the Serie A giants are “pressing hard to outmatch the strong competition and persuade him to choose Juventus over Arsenal.”

Goretzka reportedly first caught Juventus' eye in 2010. Now, if the Bianconeri get their way, he could finally arrive 16 years later.
