Bayern's DFB-Pokal opener postponed due to coronavirus

The DFB-Pokal tie between Bremer SV and Bayern München has been postponed.

Friday's DFB-Pokal first-round clash between Bremer SV and Bayern München has been postponed as the home side have had to enter quarantine due to COVID-19.

"The German Football Association (DFB) will announce a new date for the match in due course following discussions with both clubs," stated the German Football Association.

"As a result of the match being postponed, the second-round draw in the cup will also be pushed back as both clubs would be drawn from different pots."
