Baumann made three excellent saves in the closing stages of Hoffenheim's 0-0 draw with Heidenheim to help his side to a hard-fought point.

Lutsharel Geertruida, RB Leipzig
Scored Leipzig's winner against Freiburg, completed 91 percent of his passes and won six of 10 ground duels.
Willi Orban, RB Leipzig
Another rock solid performance from the Leipzig captain, who has now scored in two Bundesliga games in a row. Won seven of 11 duels and made seven clearances.
Moritz Jenz, Mainz
Won an impressive 15 of 19 duels and completed 96 percent of his passes in Mainz's 1-1 draw with Gladbach.
Alphonso Davies, Bayern
Had a very active game on the left side, completing 95 percent of his passes and making three key passes, including an assist. Also won six of eight duels.
Midfielders
Joshua Kimmich, Bayern
Pulled the strings in Bayern's midfield, making a total of 113 passes, 94 percent of which reached a teammate. Provided four key passes, including an excellent assist from a free kick.
Romano Schmid, Werder Bremen
Scored Werder's equaliser against Leverkusen and made two key passes.
Jamal Musiala, Bayern
Impressive in his return to the Bayern starting lineup, scoring and setting up a goal. Completed 92 percent of his passes and four of six dribbles, while winning eight of 11 duels.
Strikers
El Bilal Touré, Stuttgart
Was given a rare start for Stuttgart and made the most of it with a goal and an assist in the 2-1 win over Holstein Kiel.
Alexis Claude-Maurice, Augsburg
Stole the show in his first start for Augsburg with a brace against Borussia Dortmund.
Marvin Ducksch, Werder Bremen
Was a constant threat in Werder's 2-2 draw with Bayer Leverkusen. Got on the scoresheet, made three key passes and won five of six duels.
