Bayer Leverkusen are expected to complete the signing of Union Berlin midfielder Robert Andrich this summer.

According to Kicker, Andrich and Leverkusen already agreed personal terms several weeks ago, but until now, it hasn't been clear whether the 26-year-old would make the switch to BayArena now or in 2022, at which point his current deal expires.

The central midfielder, who missed out with an injury as the two clubs drew 1-1 on Saturday, was snapped up by Union from Heidenheim for €1 million two years ago.

He has featured a total of 66 times for the German capital club, racking up nine goals and six assists.
