Borussia Dortmund’s head coach Niko Kovac ruled out signing a replacement for Pascal Groß. The German international completed his transfer back to the English Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion earlier today.
"We are well set up with Jobe (Bellingham), Felix (Nmecha), Sabi (Sabitzer), and also Salih (Özcan),” said the Croat coach before confirming their decision to Sky. “We won't be doing anything more in this position.".
The 34-year-old only started one of the last five Bundesliga games before the winter break. He also only played 40 minutes in the Champions League this season. It’s a huge contrast to his debut season, where he played 50 games in all competitions.
