Oscar Fraulo joined Derby County on a permanent transfer from Borussia Mönchengladbach. The Rams courted the Danish midfielder for a while, and they finally sealed the deal with him signing a contract until the end of the 2028/29 season.

“Oscar (Fraulo) is a good footballer. But his playing time will not improve because of the competition for his position. He can now take on a new challenge at his new club. We wish him all the best,” said Gladbach’s head of sports, Rouven Schröder.

Fraulo only played 40 Bundesliga minutes this term, although he scored his first goal for the club he joined in 2022 in a 4-0 win away at St. Pauli. Previously, he was loaned to FC Utrecht in consecutive seasons. Derby County are sitting in 11th place in England’s second-tier after the New Year’s games.
