Official: Hwang to Molineux with €15 million purchase option

The finalized loan deal that sent RB Leipzig striker to the Premiership contains an optional €15 million purchase clause according to RBlive and Sky Germany.
Both sides moved quickly on Sunday afternoon to seal the loan-deal that will see RB-system prospect Hee-Chan Hwang spend the rest of the season with Wolves in the EPL. The 25-year-old South Korean international remains under contract with the German Red Bulls through 2025 on the deal that brought him to the Bundesliga during the summer 2020 transfer window.

All details initially reported in the deal yesterday were confirmed by German media sources when the deal was officially announced. Wolves will have the opportunity to exercise a €15 million purchase option on a player with a current estimated market value of €11 million should the attacker enjoy success at Molineux.

Leipzig officially bid Hwang farewell on their social media feed just prior to kickoff against the German Wolves on Sunday.
