St.Pauli are reportedly interested in FC Kaiserslautern's Daisuke Yokota, according to the latest update from Kicker.

On loan from KAA Gent, the Japanese forward impressed in the first half of the season scoring 4 goals and providing 3 assists.

Furthermore, the 25-year-old can fill into Saad's vacant position after his move to Augsburg, or as the Number 10 in Blessin's 3-4-1-2 setup.

With Morgan Guilavogui sold, and St.Pauli deciding not to extend the contracts of Zoller or Eggestein; attacking options are required.

Yokota is still under contract with the Belgian club until 2027 and could cost around €4million - too much for the Hanseatic club.

With six attacking options sold or set to leave, and only two replacements in Ricky-Jade Jones and Mathias Pereira Lage; St.Pauli could be in trouble.
