After his travails on German international duty, it appears Nico Schlotterbeck has returned to the Dortmund camp with a bug.

“Schlotterbeck has a slight cold, but we expect him to be back in shape for the weekend,” Kovač said in his press conference for the Bayern game.

“Apart from the known cases of Can, Anselmino, and Duranville, who are working their way back up, everything else looks good,” he added.

Regarding the fitness of marksman Serhou Guirassy, the BVB head coach explained he is in good shape for the trip to Munich on Saturday.

“He [Guirassy] was really annoyed that he took a knock to the thigh and wasn't able to help the guys the way we're used to.

“He came back early [from international camp with Guinea] and has now been able to prepare really well for Saturday,” the 54-year-old said.

Regarding the game, he hopes his team can “hold their own” against an unbeaten Bayern side who “like to start like a fire” in games.
