Three games into his spell at Borussia Mönchengladbach, Hoffenheim loanee Haris Tabakovic is still searching for his first goal for Die Fohlen.

The 31-year-old most recently featured in Gladbach’s 2-0 friendly win over Schalke 04, putting in a performance that didn’t exactly impress his coach.

“He would certainly agree if we said that he didn’t have such a good game,” Gerardo Seoane told Rheinische Post.

“We will make good use of the week to build his confidence and improve his understanding of the processes and timing," said the Gladbach coach.

Borussias sporting managing director, Roland Virkus, added:

“I would like Haris, who does a lot for the team and works hard, to score a goal. That would help both him and us.”

Tabakovic will get another chance to open his Gladbach account when Seoane's team host Werder Bremen on Sunday.
