Stoiber hands chairman role on Bayern's supervisory board over to Dieter Reiter

Dr. Edmund Stoiber, the long-serving member of Bayern Munich since 1966, has officially bid farewell as Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
The 84-year-old, will be honored for his service to the Bavarian giants on Sunday at the Allianz Arena during the club's honorary match day.
Alongside other long-standing members, who appointed him as Honorary Chairman of the Supervisory Board, will hand over his position to Dieter Reiter.
Stoiber has been a member of the board since 1988 and its chairman since 1992. Munich's Mayor Reiter has been a member of the Supervisory Board since 2017.
Jochen Tschunke and Peter Kerspe also bid farewell yesterday, Friday 6 February. Tschunke had been a member since 1994, Kerspe since 2018.
Elisabeth Promberger, Dr. Klaus-Peter Röhler, Alexander Sixt, and Max Viessmann have been newly appointed to the board.
Meanwhile, Alexandra Schörghuber remains deputy chair of the administrative advisory board going forward into the future.
