VfB Stuttgart have sealed the signing of Grischa Prömel from TSG Hoffenheim.

The central midfielder arrives on a free transfer and has signed a contract until 2029.

“The desire to one day join VfB is one I’ve had for quite some time. I was born in Cannstatt, grew up in Esslingen and have always followed VfB over the years. In a way, it’s a dream come true for me and I’m excited to be wearing the Brustring from next season onwards,” said Promel.

"VfB have built incredible momentum in recent years and are known for their attractive style of play. Seeing where the club is now is impressive, and it feels great to become a part of that journey.”

VfB Stuttgart's board member for sport, Fabian Wohlgemuth, added:

"We’re really pleased to have signed Grischa Prömel. Grischa is an outstanding footballer, is incredibly ambitious and has gained a lot of valuable experience in recent years. That combination makes him a priceless addition, particularly as he hails from the region and therefore has a strong affinity with VfB.”
