Top 20 confirmed Bundesliga summer transfers so far

Here are the most notable confirmed summer transfers involving Bundesliga teams so far.

 

Michael Olise, from Crystal Palace to Bayern Munich – €53 million
The Bundesliga's most expensive signing of the summer transfer window so far, Olise arrives in Germany with great expectations on his shoulders. The 22-year-old winger was involved in an impressive 16 goals (10 goals, six assists) in 19 Premier League appearances for Crystal Palace last season.

 

Joao Palhinha, from Fulham to Bayern Munich – €51 million
After coming painfully close to a move to Bayern Munich last summer, the Portugal international has finally made the move, with the 29-year-old strengthening the Bavarians in the defensive midfield position.

 

Hiroki Ito, from VfB Stuttgart to Bayern Munich – €23.5 million
Following an impressive 2023/24 campaign with Stuttgart, Ito's €23.5 release clause was activated by Bayern. A versatile defender, the 25-year-old can play at left-back as well as at central defense.

 

Waldemar Anton, from VfB Stuttgart to Borussia Dortmund – €22.5 million
Borussia Dortmund triggered a €22.5 million release clause to sign the Stuttgart captain as a replacement for the departed Mats Hummels. The experienced centre-back was a key player in Stuttgart's impressive 2023/24 season and was rewarded with his first call-up to the German national team in March.

 

Ermedin Demirovic, from FC Augsburg to VfB Stuttgart – €21 million
Stuttgart have responded to the loss of star striker Serhou Guirassy to Borussia Dortmund by signing Augsburg captain Ermedin Demirovic, who is coming off an exceptional season in which he scored 15 goals and laid on 10 assists in the Bundesliga.

 

Martin Terrier, from Stade Rennes to Bayer Leverkusen – €20 million
One of two players Leverkusen have signed from Rennes this summer, the French attacker adds to their options up front.

 

Serhou Guirassy, from VfB Stuttgart to Borussia Dortmund – €18 million
Guirassy's move to Dortmund suffered a setback when the striker's medical revealed a knee injury. But after a specialist took a close look at the injury, BVB decided to go ahead with the move for the striker, who scored 30 goals in 30 appearances for Stuttgart last season.

 

Aleix Garcia, from Girona FC to Bayer Leverkusen – €18 million
Captaining Girona from central midfield, Garcia played a key role in the Spanish club's sensational 2023/24 La Liga campaign and has now joined the German champions to add to the competition for places in the middle of the park.

 

Jeanuël Belocian, from Stade Rennes to Bayer Leverkusen – €15 million
The German champions announced their first signing of the summer on Friday evening, with 19-year-old Jeanuel Belocian joining from Stade Rennes. A French U21 international, Belocian is capable of playing at left back as well as in central defense.

 

Kamil Grabara, from FC Copenhagen to VfL Wolfsburg – €13.5 million
Wolfsburg confirmed the signing of Grabara back in September, with the Polish goalkeeper set to battle it out with another new signing - Marius Müller, who arrives from Schalke 04 - to replace the outgoing Koen Casteels in goal.

 

Can Uzun, from FC Nürnberg to Eintracht Frankfurt – €11 million
Eintracht prevailed in the race to sign the highly-rated 18-year-old, who scored an impressive 16 goals in the 2. Bundesliga last season.

 

Maarten Vandevoordt, from Genk to RB Leipzig – €10 million
At the age of 22, Vandevoordt could be the man to succeed Peter Gulacsi in Leipzig's goal in a few years' time. Despite his young age, he has made an impressive 169 appearances for Genk.

 

Assan Ouedraogo, from Schalke 04 to RB Leipzig – €10 million
After being linked with a number of clubs in Germany and abroad, the 18-year-old central midfielder opted to join RB Leipzig.

 

Jan-Niklas Beste, from FC Heidenheim to SL Benfica – €8 million
Heidenheim will have to make do without last season's attacking talisman, who has signed for Benfica.

 

Tim Kleindienst, from FC Heidenheim to Gladbach – €7 million
Another key player who has left Heidenheim is Kleindienst, who scored 12 goals in the Bundesliga last season. Gladbach will be hoping he can continue in the same vein.

 

Eren Dinkci, from Werder Bremen to SC Freiburg – €5 million
Werder Bremen were probably looking forward to welcoming Eren Dinkci back from his loan spell when they saw how well he was performing for Heidenheim, for whom he scored 10 goals and laid on five assists in the Bundesliga in the 2023/24 season. Unfortunately for the Green and Whites, the attacker has instead opted for a move to Freiburg, who have triggered a release clause in his contract.

 

Patrick Osterhage, from VfL Bochum to SC Freiburg – €4.8 million
After taking a big step forward in his development in the 2023/24 season, Osterhage moves to Freiburg, where he will compete with the aging Nicolas Höfler for the starting berth in central midfield.

 

Jeff Chabot, from FC Köln to VfB Stuttgart – €4 million
One of the bright spots in a poor season for FC Köln, Chabot joins Stuttgart, who have activated a relegation release clause in the centre-back's contract.

 

Mohamed Amoura, from Union SG to VfL Wolfsburg - loan, €3 million
After scoring an impressive 22 goals in 45 appearances for Belgian outfit Union Saint-Gilloise last season, the 24-year-old has joined Wolfsburg on loan with a buy option.

 

Kevin Stöger, from VfL Bochum to Gladbach – free transfer
Gladbach pulled off a coup when they sealed the signing of Bochum midfield talisman Kevin Stöger on a free transfer. A creative talisman in Bochum's midfield, Stöger scored seven goals and laid on nine assists in the league during the 2023/24 season.
