On Wednesday, Munich-based publication AZ reported that Bayern Munich had decided not to improve on their contract offer to Joshua Kimmich, whose deal expires in the summer.

Now Bild and Sky Germany have gone a step further, claiming that the Bavarians have in fact withdrawn their offer and told the 30-year-old that it's no longer valid.

Kimmich had been offered a deal slightly better than his current €20 million-a-year contract, but the club have decided to pull the offer because the management can't understand why he's still hesitating.

Although a new deal isn't completely off the table, it's doubtful that Bayern will offer Kimmich the same terms as before.

If a new deal can't be reached, Kimmich will leave as a free agent in the summer.
