According to the latest round of transfer updates from Sky Germany, Werder Bremen are keeping tabs on Yukhym Konoplya.

The report from the pay-TV channel is also aware that more unnamed big clubs from the Bundesliga are also showing interest.

Nonetheless, Bremen seem to have the upper hand in the race for the Shakhtar Donetsk defender and have already held talks.

However, Premier League side Everton and struggling Dutch giants Ajax are also closely monitoring the situation.

The 26-year-old right-back will be available on a free transfer in the summer, as his contract with Shakhtar expires.

So far this season, Konoplya has featured in 32 games across all competitions, chipping in with 2 goals and 4 assists in that time.
