VfL Wolfsburg appear to be close to sending Vaclav Cerny out on loan for the 2024/25 season.

According to Sky Germany, Die Wölfe are in advanced negotiations with Rangers FC over a loan move for the winger.

It's not yet known if a purchase option will be included in the deal with the Scottish Premiership side.

Wolfsburg paid a reported 8 million to bring Cerny to Germany last summer and he is under contract until 2027.

The Czech international scored four goals in 22 Bundesliga appearances last season.
