In Sunday's battle between Germany's "red company team" and "green company team", the team sheets for Xabi Alonso's Bayer 04 Leverkusen and Ralph Hasenhüttl's VfL Wolfsburg have been released.

Working on a tight turnaround from Thursday Champions' League fixture, Xabi has opted for five personnel rotations from the XI he deployed against Feyenoord. Florian Wirtz, Granit Xhaka, Edmond Tapsoba, Jonthan Tah, Alejandro Grimaldo, and Lukas Hradecky remain starters.

Victor Boniface, Michael Terrier, Robert Andrich, Jeremie Frimpong, and Piero Hincapie have been replaced by Patrik Schick, Amine Adli, Aleix Garcia, Jeanuel Belocian, and Nordi Mukiele. Belocian is making his Bundesliga debut. Former Leipzig man Mukiele stars for the first time in a B04 tricot.

VfL trainer Hasenhüttl makes just one change from the team that lost to Frankfurt in the league last week. New summer signing Mohammed Amoura is finally fit enough to make his starting debut. The Algerian striker, who collected an assist off the bench last week, replaces Salih Özcan.
