According to both Sky Germany and Sport BILD, Tjark Ernst is headed to last season's Eredivise runners-up Feyenoord Rotterdam.

Feyenoord, who will compete in the Champions League next season, will transfer a fixed fee of €5million to Hertha Berlin.

The promising shot-stopper is already preparing for the move and will not participate in Hertha's training session today.

Hertha's league rival VfL Wolfsburg, who also held interest in Ernst, will also be closely watching this development.

While Wolfsburg missed out on Ernst's services, they are also interested in Feyenoord captain Timon Wellenreuther, who could be sold.

As for Hertha BSC, they must source a replacement, with Fortuna Düsseldorf's Florian Kastenmeier said to be top of their list.

Kastenmeier, who was relegated to the 3. Liga with Düsseldorf last season, would be available on a free transfer as a result.
