Hamburger SV are considering making a move for goalkeeper 1.FC Heidenheim's Kevin Müller, according to Sky Germany.
The 34-year-old is currently the leading option if HSV wish to appoint an experienced goalkeeper to replace Daniel Peretz.
Out-of-favour Müller has been given the green light for a move in January and could be available almost free of charge.
He is valued internally for his top mentality and is ready for a new challenge, but so far, there has been no contact between the clubs.
The once first-choice Heidenheim shot-stopper lost his place to Dortmund loanee Diant Ramaj leading to a social media outburst from Müller.
Müller was subsequently linked with a move to the MLS afterwards, but it appears that exit route has since dried up.
