TSG Hoffenheim goalkeeper Oliver Baumann will not be included in Germany's squad for the upcoming UEFA Nations League fixtures, according to Bild.
The German tabloid reports that new Germany coach Jürgen Klopp has decided against selecting the 36-year-old, who was the first-choice goalkeeper during World Cup qualifying and the No. 2 behind Manuel Neuer at the tournament in the summer.
It is expected that Marc-André ter Stegen, who is on loan at Ajax from FC Barcelona, will get the nod instead after working his way back from injury.
Jonas Urbig, the second-choice goalkeeper at FC Bayern behind Manuel Neuer, and Alexander Nübel (Besiktas) are considered the leading candidates for the two remaining spots, while Finn Dahmen (Augsburg) is seen as an alternative.
Klopp's first Germany squad will be announced on Thursday.
