With Conor Bradley expected to be out for several months due to a knee injury, Liverpool could turn to Germany for a replacement.
According to Absolut Fussball, the Reds are considering a winter move for Borussia Dortmund’s Julian Ryerson.
Battling with Yan Couto for the right wing-back spot, the Norwegian international has featured 22 times for BVB this season, starting 15 of those games.
He most recently played the full 90 minutes as Dortmund drew 3-3 with Eintracht Frankfurt on Friday, earning praise from head coach Niko Kovač.
“You can see that Julian Ryerson is a Viking. That’s how he plays football. He spares neither himself nor the opponent and drives forward with a lot of energy,” Kovač said.
FC Barcelona have previously been mentioned as suitors for the 28-year-old, who remains under contract with Dortmund until 2028.
