Concerns about Manuel Neuer have plagued FC Bayern in recent days, but just in time for the match against SC Freiburg, there is good news.

Until Friday midday, it was completely uncertain whether the 39-year-old would actually be able to play between the posts.

But the captain of the Bavarians appeared punctually at 1:54pm for the closed final training session at Säbener Straße.

According to BILD, Neuer had been suffering from a gastrointestinal infection and a persistent cold since Tuesday.

Uncertainty grew as to whether he would be fit in time for the home game against Freiburg, but now it appears he could be an option after all.
