Sport Bild Report: Gladbach have Kovac lined up in event of Hütter dismissal
Germany's main sporting tabloid cites its own sources to report that the Max Eberl and the Borussia Mönchengladbach have a "contingency plan" in place for replacing Adi Hütter.

As it so happens, Gladbach face two relegation candidates in their next two league fixtures. Failure to obtain results against DSC Arminia Bielefeld (February 5th) and FC Augsburg (February 12th) could spell doom for the West Prussian Westphalians. At present, the foals are only three points above the relegation playoff place. A pair of wins could lift them above the relegation race. Losses or draws will leave them in the middle of it.
Even if Hütter--at a price-tag of €7.5 million--was briefly the most expensive head-coach ever bought in footballing history last spring, Max Eberl and the BMG front office will have to cut their losses if the team must struggle for survival. Kovac, most recently cut loose by AS Monaco on the first of the year, will surely be on his way back to a Bundesliga club at some point.
The German tabloid notes that club officials were contacted in regard to the rumor, but offered no comment.
