Bayer Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes has reiterated that Patrik Schick will not leave the club this summer.

Having found the net 22 times in 25 games in the Bundesliga this season, the Czech forward has been linked with a host of European top clubs.

Leverkusen, however, are not interested in letting him go.

"No one needs to contact us regarding Patrik. It's normal for a top striker of his class to attract interest. But he will also play with us next season, that's quite clear," Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes told Bild.

"We want to make our already good team even better. And Patrik is a central player in our plans for the future," added Rolfes.
